Isak Haracic (cellist) and Sonja Markovic (pianist), a duo from Bosnia & Herzegovina, began performing together as SOIS at the start of 2020. The idea of making a duo came as a result of their wish to be productive and creative during the sudden halt of all concert activities due to Covid-19 pandemic. They had their first performance in Sarajevo in early 2020, and soon went on to perform at international competitions. In a short period of time they won several first prizes - at  “Città di Sarzana” (Italy), “Opus Competition” (Poland), “Ohird te sakam” (Macedonia). Despite the pandemic circumstances, they appeared at several festivals, such as Concerti del Tempietto (Rome, Italy), Montenegro Chamber Music Festival (Montenegro), Strings Festival Perast (Montenegro), and SVEM (Bosnia) in 2022.
